On Worldette this week: Traveling to find my roots
Sydney has been raining continuously. It's been a weird summer, and we can't do our usual summer stuff like flap around in shorts and thongs and then bum out at the beach all day.
Well... you could, but you might get a bit wet and sticky.
So I have been doing a lot of reading. Currently I am reading Michael Palin's Full Circle, a book about his filming project travelling around the Pacific rim. And when I am not reading (and not working...) I write. Unfortunately not really for Travel String because I find it hard to blog when I am not actually travelling (Perhaps some of you can suggest something for me to blog about?). It has been good for me to write about past travels, and think up *hopefully* funny things that other people can relate to. It's kind of my therapy for not actually being on the go.
So, this week I wanted to share this story because I know I have written about Taiwan itself on Travel String, I never really wrote about my personal reasons for the trip. Currently on Worldette I have an article about just that. Why I went, what I found and what I've concluded about myself.

Flick Wit
I've been reading quite a few of your Worldette articles over the last few months (definitely related to the travel envy one!) so I'll have to head over and check this one out.
Saw you're off to Uluru at the moment too - lucky girl, would love to go there!
Have fun
