I only came across this today, the competition is to start on the 1 June and if you didn't get through the rounds of our Queensland's Best Job in the World contest, maybe you can give this one a go!
You might remember (if you have been reading this blog from the beginning) that I wrote about my trip to Taiwan last December. If not, they can be accessed here:

Well, anyway, so it seems that the Taiwanese Tourism decided to hold a contest similar to the one Queensland held - just with less money. They are pretty much offering a good writer to spend a month in Taiwan with NT$800,000 spending money to have a good look at the place. It's a lot of money to be spending in Taiwan, trust me.
Anyways, have a look! And I am sure I have enough material here for you to start researching on your entry
