Trying my hand at reporting: Flood report
Travelling with only one backpack seems to raise a few suspicions. As one of the hotel concierge said "girls don't usually come to Bangkok and not have a big suitcase to bring the shopping home!" and that I was here for a wedding was not a satisfying reason either: "Where did you pack your dress then?" (crunched up in a ball at the bottom of my backpack!)
Yesterday, someone had guessed I was a journalist.
Hey, I like the sound of that. A journalist. So that's when the idea entered my head, I was going to try my hand at reporting! So when I was on the ferry I took a few videos, stitched them together with Movie Maker and came up with the following. It's not brilliant. In fact, it's pretty silly and having to think of things to say at the right moment produced some odd descriptions. Oh wells, I tried. Don't treat this too seriously.
