Memories: Images of Taiwan
I am bored, and work isn't helping.
So I decided to do a little daydreaming with the help of my photos. Today's feature is Taiwan, when we went travelling around the entire island searching for a culture I can relate to (I didn't find it. My roots are in Sydney). As a travel destination it was a pleasant surprise, as it was easy to get around, friendly and down to earth and clean!
(Some of these photos may have already featured in a previous blog post.)
Enjoy.

I love the colours here. This is a historical residence in Tainan, where its foundations were built by the Portuguese, the middle section built by the Dutch and the top and roof section built by the migrated Chinese colony long before the republic.
Oyster farmers spend hours shucking oysters to sell to local restaurants. They may not make much money from this but the gossip and the community involvement keeps them going.
