Planning my next trip - Option 2

I mentioned that one of my trip options for this year/ next year was to attend the ISFIT conference in Norway combining England and Germany visits next January.
Another option that has crossed my mind is to do another volunteer trip, either again with World Youth International, the organisation I went to Peru with, or with Conservation Volunteers for something different.
The downside to this is that I'd like to be involved for a longer term for better sustainability and community support. Timing wise will have to be a lot later this year when my fiance is better settled in Coffs Harbour and will not miss me that much.
Although, a little debate has been going on in my head. I really want to be involved, yet as stated in my discussions in Voluntourism - Benefits or Harm? - I think I really would like to get more involved than just be there for the communities for a short term.
You know what I'd really like? To be able to be professionally placed for a year or two with the Australian Volunteers International, unfortunately as I said in my post about A Traveller's Fear, my fiance won't like that one bit.
Well, that's my option 2 anyway, to volunteer again. Thankfully I do have other travel options in mind to think about!
