News: US$14 entry to the US for Australians
It hasn't been that long ago since they introduced the 'registration' process to entre the USA for Visa exempt countries such as Australia.
While we still have to go through the questions, from today, travellers from Visa exempt countries will also be required to pay a US$14 entry fee to entre the USA.
Apparently this money will go towards their tourism campaigns.
Fair enough. A lot of the travellers into Australia must pay a bit of fees to get their Visas, this include the citizens of the USA coming to Australia. However this move has not been welcomed by a lot of the European countries. Whether the campaign will actually attract more visitors is another question, one that only time will tell.
