Historic Berrima - NSW
October 11th 2009 10:34
Thought I'd share this little gem in the Southern Highlands of NSW.
Berrima, just a bit further south from Mittagong of the Southern Highlands, is a cute little historic town. One main road, 400 people. Plenty to enjoy.
Visit the Old Bakery cafe. Their Devonshire Tea is devine. Then hop over to the Old Lollie shop for some sweets from memory lane. Weekend markets are held at the only public school, and the town also boasts Australia's longest 'Licenced' pub!
To visit, drive south on Hume Hwy from Sydney, go all the way to Mittagong then follow the signs. Easy.
