Quick Travel News: Travel Expo in Australia
March 10th 2008 01:14
The Travel Expo is back in Sydney this weekend at Darling Harbour.
"Travel is predominantly for recreational purposes. It allows people to see places and experience things that they wouldn't do at home." (Travel Expo website)
I love travel expos. Tourism boards and travel service providers gather under one roof for one sole purpose: to promote travels, and is the perfect place to head to if you want to find out about certain countries, places or simply just to flip through the brochures full of photographs to inspire your next travel destination.
There are also prizes to be won, free film and talk presentations, live entertainment and travel deals to save you money.
Entry cost: $13 (concessions available)
Travel Expo will also be in Canberra and Melbourne in April 2008.
Further information or to purchase tickets online: Travel Expo 2008
